Margurite Quinn brings to Harrisburg a spirit of bipartisanship that helps ensure our needs are put above partisan
politics. On issue after issue, she has proven her independence and ability to work with colleagues from both
parties to get results on important issues.
Property Tax Reform. Fiscal Discipline.
Marguerite Quinn knows that real property tax reform means both lower taxes for homeowners and a guarantee that
our Bucks County schools aren't shortchanged. That's why she has been working to change the state's education
funding formula to more adequately and fairly fund Bucks County schools. Marguerite is also leading the fight
to bring fiscal discipline to Harrisburg by reducing wasteful spending - including calling on her own party to
return its legislative budget surplus to taxpayers.
Healthcare We Can All Afford
Marguerite Quinn cares deeply about ensuring our families and seniors can afford quality healthcare. That is why
she is a sponsor of a comprehensive package of bills to reform the healthcare system. It's why she joined with
Republicans and Democrats to support healthcare coverage for our state's most needy, and it is why she is working
to reduce medical malpractice costs - so doctors stay in our state and come to our state.
Preserving Open Space for Future Generations
Marguerite is committed to saving Bucks County's beautiful open spaces and environmental resources. She led the
successful bipartisan effort for the passage of the Bedminster Bill, legislation to give local officials
greater control when faced with development challanges. Marguerite also recognizes the need to fully fund
Pennsylvania's environmental cleanup program and has made it a priority to see that hazardous sites in our
communities are returned to safe use.
Listening to Us Here At Home
As our State Representative, Marguerite is holding Town Hall Meetings, outreach events and more to listen to our
concerns - then acting to make a difference. She's worked to ensure funding for important infrastructure needs
like bridges and roads, secured funding and support for the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) to help women in
crisis, and help our local senioe centers.
